Hi, I'm Tom...
a graphic designer from the Southwest of England with a background in loud music, big ideas, and a healthy obsession with making things look great.
This page is a bit more me... less about the portfolio highlights and more about the person behind the work. If you're after the full breakdown of skills, tools, and experience, you'll find all that below or over on LinkedIn. But before we get to that, I thought it made sense to share a bit of who I am, just in case you'd rather get to know the human first, and talk shop over a cup of tea later (Milk and 1 sweetener please!).
My design journey kicked off in 2002 when my school band needed the most metal posters, T-shirts, and logo we could dream up (record deal never came, but the passion stuck). That early DIY spark led me through college and uni, studying everything from art and photography to media and design.
The plan? Travel the world, play music, soak up culture, visit as many Hard Rock Café’s as possible to add to the ever-growing pin collection and design from the back of a tour van. While I didn’t become a full-time rockstar, I’ve been lucky enough to tour the UK, Europe, and the US, play to amazing crowds, and work with some inspiring creatives along the way.
These experiences shaped my approach: grounded, adventurous, always chasing creativity with purpose… and never without a sense of humour.
These days, when I’m not designing or riffing in bands (shoutout to Dealer and Declaration of Rebellion), you’ll find me exploring National Trust spots with my wife, our son, and our overexcited rescue dog Stanley, plotting our next trip, or geeking out over WWII documentaries and spreadsheets.
Oh, and yes, I still collect Hard Rock Café pins. Sorry, not sorry.
